This way they will feel energetic and would take interest in learning similar skills. Another very effective procedure is music. Music is a very good way to relax and children are also fond of listening to the music. You can develop exercises based on the musical beats. This would increase the interest of the children and they would enjoy rather than feeling burdened.

Yoga is a direct way to getting connected to the god so if your child would be given a teaching of doing yoga he will be able to live a better harmonious life from the beginning itself.
