Healing Meditation

Healing meditation is a meditation technique that is proven medically. It improves your complete health, increases energy levels and also transforms your way of life. Many people can benefit from this meditation technique if they take out time from their daily schedule to do a simple process of calming mind body and spirit. Healing meditation helps in increasing vigor and clears webs of mind and life.

Healing Meditation- how to do it?

The first and foremost point that you should keep in mind before you start meditating is to relax. Meditation is supposed to begin with relaxation. To relax, you must lie down, breathe slowly, and calm the mind. When you calm your mind, it comes down to alpha state; which is that level of consciousness where there are no thoughts and words. The healing meditation is done through visualization. It includes visualization in sync with breathing. Breathing cycle should be carried out in four stages:

  1. Inhale for 5 seconds,
  2. Hold breath for 5 seconds,
  3. Exhale for 5 seconds
  4. Finally stay still with no air in the lungs for 5 seconds.

Make sure that there is no strain or stress while inhaling, exhaling or holding breath. With each breath exercise you must visualize as well. Following are the ways to do the visualization process:

  1. During inhale phase visualize a white field full of energy gathering around that part or organ that is not well.
  2. Holding breath – you can continue visualization, but make sure that you do not have any thoughts..
  3. Start exhale – During this phase visualize that the white field of energy is going through the ill organ and is healing it.
  4. Hold breath – Continue with the visualization and slowly release the white energy

This healing meditation cycle should be continued for 10-20 minutes. Also remember to stay in the alpha level while meditating and to make use only of visualization. After you are done with white energy treatment, continue to breathe without exertion for some time. Finally visualize that the ill part is perfectly healthy and strong. You must finish healing meditation only when you feel comfortable and relaxed. The healing meditation involves our mind to heal the body.
