Dr. Dilip Raja’s expert hands are curing people for more than 20 years in Mumbai at Dr. Raja’s Urology and Andrology Centre, Bandra and Chowpatty Medical Centre, Mumbai. He became extensively trained in U.S.A, Australia and Belgium in various fields of his expertise. His work for curing Kidney stones by ESWL (Extra-Corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) has added laurels to his name. He is amongst the first few Urologists and Andrologists to start newer techniques like Micro surgery in Urology, Electro Vaporization of Prostate and Penile Implants etc. He received gold medal at M.S. examination, Calcutta University and Dr. Anungo Mohan Sen Memorial for Association of surgeons of India 1983. He has been instrumental in setting up the kidney units at national and international levels. He is a member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Endo-Urology Association, U.S.A and almost all the renowned international urological society of the world.

Dr. Sarbeswar Sahariah developed the technique of Islet cell and Segmental pancreatic transplantation in Diabetes and published many papers. He was deputed to visit the transplantation center at Tokai University School of Medicine, Japan (1985). He performed the first laparoscopic donor nephrectomy in the country in 1998. He holds the honor of being the lifetime member of Indian society of Nephrology and was selected as a member of International Transplant Society in 2002. Currently, he is working as Consultant Transplant Urologist at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad; Global Hospital and Organ Transplant Institute, Hyderabad and Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad.

Dr. Mahendra specializes in Urosurgery, Urodynamics, Uro-oncology and Endourology. He is an M.B.B.S., M.S. (General surgery), DNB (Urology), M.Ch. (Urology), FRCS (Glasgow, Urology). His skills further enhanced when he became a part of British Associative of Paediatric Urologist Course, Cambridge. The course on the scientific basics of urology at Guy’s hospital, London took him to new heights. His prestige grew when he was invited to attend Peter Freyer Surgical Society meeting, Ireland. At present, this surgeon’s excellence is serving at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata.

Dr. Ahlawat is an expert in Endourology (Ureteroscopy and PCNL), Advanced Laparoscopic Urology including urologic oncology and renal transplantation with laparoscopic donor nephrectomy. He has worked at Washington University Medical Center, St. Louis and St. Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore, U.S.A. The title of honorary lecturer was conferred to him by the university college, London. Indian American Urological Association awarded him with the Chakraborty Traveling Fellowship for the year 1994. The Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy was instigated by him in 2001. He has the largest single unit experience in India of more than 250 lap donor nephrectomies. Throughout the years, he has trained in U.K., U.S.A and Japan including Endourology at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology at University College, London Hospitals, U.K. After playing very successful innings at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital as Senior Consultant Urology and Renal Transplantation for more than 18 years of experience, now he is the Director of Urology and Transplant Unit at Fortis Health Care Ltd.
