Dr. Naresh Trehan held important academic and clinical positions at New York University, Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital of the city of New York and Veterans Administration hospital (Manhattan), U.S.A after training in the general surgery and the successive Cardiac surgery at the premier institutions in U.S. His revolutionary work in the field of coronary artery bypasses surgery was at New York University Medical Center, New York, U.S.A. where he performed more than 3000 coronary artery operations. He started Escorts Heart institute and Research center (1988), a state-of-the-art heart institute in India. He is keenly interested in education, research and training programmes. He has presented numerous scientific papers and has chaired the scientific sessions in the scientific and international conferences in U.K., U.S.A, China, Japan and Far East.

At present, he is the eminent position holder of Executive Director and Chief Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon and member of board of Governors, Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center, New Delhi.

Dr. Kaul is an M.D. in Medicine (1975) and a DM Cardiology (1978). He Post graduated in Interventional Cardiology from Australia. He is the Director, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology surgeon at Fortis Hospital, Noida. He is credited for introducing several new techniques in the coronary interventions in India. He has participated in and has conducted a great number of live Interventional Cardiology demonstrations at national and international meets. He is the Vice President of the SAARC Cardiac Society. He is credited to have more than 450 publications. He is the proud owner of Dr. B.C. Roy award for ‘Developing Specialties’ for the year 1999. He is on the faculty of various prestigious Universities in Europe, China, U.S.A, Australia and Far East.

Dr. Ravi Narayan specializes in Pediatric Cardiology. At present, he is a Pediatric Cardiologist and in-charge Cardiologic Pediatric Unit at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. He has conducted Interventional Workshops on Device Closures and performed the second case in Karnataka for ASD Device Closure. He has a special interest in developing the Cardiologic Unit into state-of-the-art facility and provides ‘Closure of hole in heart without surgery’ using Device at low cost to do the needful for the needy and poor children. He was a Senior Specialist in Pediatric Cardiology at Royal hospital, Muscat, Oman.
